An OT Functional Capacity Assessment (FCA) provides detailed assessment and reporting of one’s capacity to carry out their daily activities.
This includes reviewing an individual’s engagement across several functional domains, including: mobility, learning, communication, self-care, self-management, and social interaction. This enables providers and the NDIA to understand the individual’s current functioning, as well as their personal goals and priorities.
Reporting includes clinical recommendations for the individual’s support needs, including what funding, services, and products may support each individual in building their daily functioning, independence, and quality of life.

An OT Sensory Assessment includes detailed assessment and reporting of one’s sensory preferences, exploring the ways in which they process the world around them, and how this can impact daily functioning and regulation.
Reporting includes clinical recommendations as to what funding, services, and products may be beneficial in supporting each individual to manage their sensory needs, build their capacity to self-regulate their emotions and behaviours, and achieve a positive quality of life. This infomation can also be utilised to guide future interventions and give important information when forming a wholistic view of an individual’s daily functioning and experiences.
Meet your OT
Stephanie is a qualified Occupational Therapist who completed her Honours Degree in Occupational Therapy at Deakin University. Stephanie has a variety of experience working with individuals living with disability, with a special interest in supporting those living with mental illness and/or psychosocial disability.
Stephanie has grown up in the Goulburn Valley and is proud to be providing services to the local community. In her spare time, you’ll catch Steff spending time with her family and friends, enjoying local restaurants, or walking her greyhound.
Steff welcomes people of all backgrounds, identities, and cultures. She looks forward to providing safe, trustworthy, and high-quality services to her clients.
